In a significant shift within the national political landscape, four major political entities are aligning on a comprehensive election strategy in Sindh ahead of the general elections.
The proposed alliance brings together Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-Pakistan), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), and the Functional League.
According to reliable sources, the Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) has consented to the initial formula for seat adjustment in Sindh.
This alliance marks a major shift in the national political scenario, signifying a willingness among these key parties to enhance coordination on political and electoral matters. The parties have formed a sub-committee, encompassing representatives from all four entities, to draft recommendations for seat adjustments.
Moreover, the collaboration intends to nominate joint candidates in various cities of Sindh, including Karachi. Each candidate in this alliance will participate in the election using their respective party symbol.
Upcoming meetings are anticipated, particularly the involvement of JUI, PML-N, and the PML-F Committee. Notably, the PML-N delegation is poised to partake in the Larkana Jalsa on November 30 under the banner of JUI.
Saad Rafique highlighted the significance of seat adjustment, deeming it their legal right. The collaborative strategy underscores the evolving dynamics as the country gears up for the upcoming elections.
