Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Khawaja Saad Rafique said on Sunday that the electoral alliances with the other political parties will happen for the country’s prosperity.
Addressing a press conference flanked by Ayaz Sadiq in Karachi, Rafique said: “We would like to express our gratitude to the parties who are of the view that Nawaz Sharif will become the next premier. We do not have a clue whether we will get the two-third majority or not.
“Right now, our focus is to go for the electoral alliance and partnership,’’ Rafique said.
He took a swipe at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying, “The PTI has harmed the country’s political landscape’’.

“We want to see an improvement in the country’s situation following the general elections”.
The PML-N leader said, “There is a lot of clarity in coming to Karachi. We are headed here following the instructions of our [PML-N’s] leadership to hold talks with the political leadership based in Sindh."
Rafique bemoaned that Karachi and other cities were not given priorities for many decades.
“The PML-N does not believe in subtracting anybody from politics,’’ Rafique said.
He made it clear that PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif will touchdown Quetta on November 14 and will hold meetings with the leaders showing interest in joining the PML-N.
