Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Saeed Ghani fired a fresh broadside on Tuesday at the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), deeming it a ‘’stooge’’.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi, Ghani said: ‘’The MQM-P has been used against the PPP in a bid to weaken the latter.’’ He took a swipe at Mustafa Kamal, saying, ‘’The PSP mafia has hijacked the MQM-P.’’

‘’Mustafa Kamal’s propaganda will be hijacked, and more people will join the PPP. The MQM-P is on the cusp of collapse. We have no competition with the MQM-P, but with others,’’ he said.
– PPP expresses optimism about winning elections –
PPP senior leader Syed Nasir Hussain Shah expressed optimism on Friday that his party will win the upcoming elections.
Speaking to media in Karachi, Shah said, “The PPP has never had support in elections. We are not afraid of the alliance against us in the upcoming elections. Despite the alliance and opposition we faced, the seats of the PPP are increasing.”
He was of the view that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) should also take part in the elections.
