The closing ceremony of the 5th Joint Multilateral Special Forces Exercise was held at the National Counter Terrorism Center in Pabi.
The two-week-long exercise, called Fajr Al-Sharq, began on November 27 at the National Counter-Terrorism Center. The exercise as attended by troops from Pakistan, Bahrain, Iraq and Kuwait.
The chief guests on the occasion were the inspector general (training and Evaluation) and Military Training director general.
Apart from the soldiers participating in the exercise, officers from the brotherly countries of Bahrain, Iraq, and Kuwait also participated in the closing ceremony. Special Forces of the participating countries displayed their professional excellence on the final day of the exercise.
The exercise was aimed at further harnessing the historic military-to-military relations amongst brotherly countries and helped nurture joint employment concepts against counterterrorism, besides identifying areas of mutual interest for future military collaborations.
