Even before the announcement by the government of Pakistan, a large number of illegal Afghans have been going back to Afghanistan from Pakistan over fear of arrest.
On December 11, 1811, Afghan citizens including 454 men, 412 women and 945 children went to Afghanistan. As per data, 169 families in 68 vehicles have been repatriated to Afghanistan.
As of December 11, 2023, the total number of illegal Afghans who left Pakistan has reached 424,842.
