An alleged drug addict woman succumbed to her injuries while two other people sustained injuries in a blast that occurred in a gas pipeline located under the Nipa Chowrangi Bridge in Karachi on Friday.
Police said that the reasons for the blast have been under investigation.
As per the Police, the blast occurred due to possible gas leakage that filled the sewerage line with gas.
SAMAA TV said that a group of drug addicts took shelter under the bridge when one of them lit the match that blew up the gas pipeline.
