Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Saeed Ghani claimed on Friday that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had not made any significant contributions in Sindh.
Hitting out at the PML-N in Karachi, Ghani said: “When Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Karachi he made big claims to uplift Karachi.”

However, he contended that the PML-N had "only constructed a few roads" in Karachi.

MQM-P leaders Raza Haroon and Anees Advocate joined the PPP on Friday.
The development came after both the leaders called on Asif Ali Zardari. On this occasion, the former president said, “Karachi belongs to the PPP. We are trying to restore the city’s glory. Those who wanted unrest and spread hate had harmed the city.”
“We want to see a surge in investment opportunities in Karachi from worldwide. We hope that Karachi will become the economic hub the way Dubai has developed.”
Zardari said, “The masses will get relief during the time of worst inflation. We will launch welfare projects in Karachi and other parts of the country.”
