The caretaker Punjab government on Saturday extended the holidays in all the private and public schools for another nine days.
All the educational institutions will remain closed until January 9 and will be opened on January 10.
On this occasion, Interim Education Minister Mansoor Qadir said: “The Punjab caretaker chief minister has decided to extend the holidays in educational holidays due to the intensifying cold across the province.”
Earlier this month, CM Naqvi announced the schedule for winter vacations in schools in Punjab.
The winter break is set to commence from December 18, 2023, and will conclude on January 1, 2024, providing students with an extended period of time off due to the improved environmental conditions
