Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Parliamentary Chairman Pervez Khattak on Tuesday denied any possibility of seat adjustment in the upcoming general elections, cautioning that any party engaging in such alliances will face repercussions.
Addressing the media in Peshawar, Khattak emphasised the need for consistency in party stances across different districts.
Mr Khattak dismissed concerns about potential election postponement, stating that those worried about security should refrain from participating rather than pushing for delays.
`Without directly naming anyone, he appeared to address Maulana Fazlur Rehman of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, who has been advocating for a postponement due to security issues.

"I know how to work; we have implemented substantial reforms in various provinces. I am confident in competing with PTI in the province," asserted Khattak, highlighting the progress made under his leadership.
He emphasised the urgency of the upcoming elections, stating that preparations were in full swing.
Regarding seat adjustments, Khattak argued that with limited time left, and candidates fielded in every district, it would be challenging to reach consensus on such arrangements.
He warned that any party opting for seat adjustments would face consequences, leaving the question of potential alliances open until after the elections.
