An unidentified person fired on Police in Teri Ram area of Bannu wherein a security personnel was martyred, while two others were injured.
One attacker was injured in retaliatory action while more personnel of Bannu Police and APC were dispatched to nab the attackers.

As per initial reports, the explosion took place near a police van that was en route to provide security to a polio vaccination team in Mamun tehsil of Bajaur district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
