The crescent for the Islamic month of Rajab on Friday sighted in Pakistan.
Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad made the announcement confirming the moon sighting.
As a result, the commencement of the first day of Rajab 1445 AH is set to take place on Saturday, January 13, across the country.
The session of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, which convened at the Department of Religious Affairs in Lahore, has successfully concluded.
