Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Wednesday dismissed the cancer rumours, saying only two countries in the world do the parathyroid treatment.
Expressing her thoughts in London, CM Maryam said: “The country has always witnessed the prosperity during the Nawaz Sharif-led government. The PML-N is having a track record of steering the country towards stability.”
She said, “I had undergone the operation of parathyroid from Geneva last year.”
CM Maryam said, “The hospital comprised of 1,000 beds is being built in Lahore, which will be the first state-of-the art hospital in the public sector.”
“The medicines are being dispatched to the patients’ houses. The ‘Apni Chhat Apna Ghar’ scheme had also been launched in the entire Punjab,” she said.
She made it clear that the meritocracy was prevailing in Punjab, saying, “The recruitment is being made in Punjab through meritocracy.”
Taking a jibe at the political opponents, she said, “The party that has spread unrest in the country is getting weaker. The masses have given no response to that party's call of staging the protests.”
“Despite giving the call to stage the protests, the party failed to gather more than 500 people. The opponents have nothing to berate,” CM Maryam said.
She stated, “Staging the politics does not mean to hurl foul language.”
