Internet sensation Chahat Fateh Ali Khan was looking to register his own political party.
The development came after the ‘’Ye Jo Piara PSL Hai’’ sensation reached the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) office on Friday in Islamabad and received the form related to party registration.
Expressing his thoughts on this occasion, Chahat said, ''I have had an interest in politics since childhood. Soon, my party’s name and manifesto will be in front of the public’’.
Earlier this month, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) rejected the nomination papers of Chahat over his dual Pakistani and British nationality.
