Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Salik Hussain said on Friday that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif had extended his support to the former’s party on every matter.
Speaking to media in Gujrat, Hussain said: ‘’The PML-Q is the only party that has not put any obstacles in the way of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) during its 16-month tenure.’’
‘’The elections will be held on time, as it is now not possible to delay the polls,’’ he said.
Hussain maintained, "Our demand from the PML-N about the seat adjustment has ended.
– PML-Q’s candidate withdraws from NA-117 in Aleem Khan’s favour –
PML-Q candidate Waheed Ahmed on Thursday decided to withdraw from NA-117 in Istehkam-e-Pakistan-Party (IPP) President Abdul Aleem Khan’s favour.
Waheed Ahmed had decided to extend support to the IPP president.
From PP-145 and PP-146, the candidates also withdrew and decided to extend support to Abdul Aleem Khan.
Hashmat Ali and Rashid Riaz had joined the election campaign of Aleem Khan and announced to open the office.
