Zaka Ashraf on Friday resigned as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management committee chairman.
Ashraf had also decided to step down as the member of BoG.
The development came after Ashraf announced his resignation as management committee chairman.
Sources divulged that Ashraf had tendered his resignation from the post for not getting authority from the IPC.
The IPC had stopped the meeting of the management committee in Karachi on Tuesday. Ashraf had been asked not to take the decisions.

Ashraf wanted to take the decisions in line with the BoG and the elections.
The IPC had stopped Ashraf from holding the T-10 league.
Ashraf had tendered his resignation to the caretaker prime minister. If the premier will accept Ashraf’s resignation, then elections will have to be held by constituting the new BoG.
If the BoG is dissolved, then Shah Khawar will assume charge. The new chief’s term will be valid until February 4. The PCB elections will have to be held until February 4.
