Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Shah Afridi said on Friday that his team will put in all-out efforts to retain the Pakistan Super League (PSL) title yet again.
Addressing the press conference ahead of the PSL 9 opener against Islamabad United, the Qalandars skipper acknowledged the importance of spin wizard Rashid Khan, saying, "We will miss Rashid Khan as he played a vital role in our victories."
Shaheen rallied behind his team, saying, "We have a capable team."

South African cricketer Rilee Rossouw on Tuesday replaced Sarfaraz Ahmed as Quetta Gladiators' captain ahead of the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Pakistan cricketer Saud Shakeel was appointed as the Gladiators' vice-captain.
Ahmed had spearheaded the Gladiators for the first nine seasons of the premium tournament.
This will be the first time that the Gladiators will have a regular captain.
Under Ahmed, the Gladiators had reached the final of the premium tournament three times. It was in 2019 that the Gladiators lifted the PSL trophy.
