Karachi Kings cricketer Irfan Khan Niazi on Thursday labelled Shan Masood as the “cool” captain.
Speaking to media, Niazi said: “The team had staged a comeback after the defeat. Not only were the captains, but the changes were also made in the team.”
Niazi acknowledged the efforts of the coaching staff, saying, “The coaches are rallying behind the coaches.”
He said: “Shan Masood believes in having a better process.”.
Expressing his thoughts about the Kings’ veterans, Shoaib Malik and Kieron Pollard, Niazi said: “I am getting the opportunity to learn plenty from Shoaib Malik and Kieron Pollard.”
He praised Malik, saying, “Nobody has more experience than Shoaib Malik. Shoaib Malik is my hero. I want to become like him.”
