The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) bagged 36 reserved seats for women in the Punjab Assembly as the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) issued the notification on Friday,
According to the notification issued by the electoral watchdog, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) had given three reserved seats to women in the Punjab Assembly.
The PML-N had given five minority seats in Punjab’s provincial assembly.
Separately, the electoral watchdog had also issued a notification of the reserved seats for women in the Sindh Assembly.
The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) bagged six reserved seats for women in the Sindh Assembly.
In Balochistan, the allocation of 11 reserved seats for women witnesses a diverse distribution among political entities.
