The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan's (MQM-P) Rabita (Coordnation) Committee was dissolved on Wednesday.
MQM-P convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui chaired a meeting of the rabita committee. It was decided to dissolve the committee and opt for the organisation.
The provincial committee, districts, zones, towns, and UCs will also be organised.
Siddiqui had constituted the central ad hoc committee.
According to details, Siddiqui will be convener of the ad hoc committee.
Prominent among those who were included in the committee were Mustafa Kamal, Farooq Sattar, Nasreen Jalil, Anis Kaimkhani, Kaiful Wara, and Rizwan Babar.
– MQM-P warns against corruption –
Siddiqui on Tuesday made it clear that the corruption will not be tolerated within the party.
Siddiqui chaired a meeting of the MQM-P Rabita Committee. On this occasion, the elected lawmakers were directed to visit the party office once a week in their respective constituencies.
Sources divulged that the elected lawmakers had been instructed to listen to the masses’ concerns.
The MQM-P leadership had decided to finalise the name of the opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly following the consultations.
