Amid the US tariff war, global and local gold prices have reached new record levels. The price of gold per tola has crossed Rs325,000 for the first time in history.
On Thursday, the gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a hike, taking the cost of 24-karat gold to Rs325,500 per tola after seeing a price rise of Rs500.
Dealers reported a similar hike in the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold, which has gone up by Rs428 to now trade at Rs279,063. Furthermore, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also reported a rise to trade at Rs255,817.
The price of 24-karat silver per tola is currently standing at Rs3,580. Internationally also, the gold price saw an increase of $5, reaching $3,089 per ounce.
