Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Emir Sirajul Haq on Sunday vowed to turn Pakistan into a welfare state.
Expressing his thoughts, Haq bemoaned: "No strategy has been formulated in the assembly for the protection of the people of Gaza."
"I was of the view that Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif would do something to save the people of Gaza."
Speaking about the appointment of Asif Ali Zardari as the country's 14th president, Haq asserted: "The people who plundered the country attended Asif Ali Zardari's oath-taking ceremony."
"The people of the country stood by the people of Gaza," he said.
– Haq fires fresh broadside at political opponents –
Few days back, Haq fired a fresh salvo at his political opponents.
Expressing his thoughts, Haq said: “The rulers had announced to provide free electricity up to 300 units. Now they need to implement their announcement in the ongoing month.”
“Masses cannot be given justice with the rigged elections,” he added.
Recalling the 2018 general elections, Haq said: “We had decided after the 2018 elections to stage politics with the allies. We had to bear the brunt of the allies’ politics.”
Haq expressed optimism that 2028 and 2033 will belong to his party.
Speaking about the vote of no-confidence motion against the deposed premier, Haq said: “All the political powers had visited Mansoora during the no-confidence motion.”
