An explosion rocked the Harnai district of Balochistan, leaving at least 15 people injured, with many reported to be in serious condition.
Rescue operations swiftly commenced as the injured were being transported to nearby hospitals for urgent medical treatment. Security forces and Levies Force immediately deployed to the scene to assess the situation and ensure the safety of the area.
Initially, the nature of the explosion remained unclear, prompting authorities to launch an investigation into the incident.
Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti condemned the blast, describing it as a deplorable act of violence.
Bugti instructed the Home Department to provide a comprehensive report on the incident. He emphasized the need to offer better medical facilities to the injured and called for an immediate submission of the investigation report.
Some media reports suggest that the blast took place on the roadside near the vehicle of Mari Petroleum, which was transporting labourers.
