The Saudi Riyal (SAR) continued its upward movement against the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) in the open market, reaching Rs74.71 after a five-paisa increase on Saturday, March 15, 2025.
The selling rate of the Riyal also strengthened, with exchange companies offering 1 SAR for Rs75.11, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan.

SAR to PKR exchange rate today
The Saudi Riyal is valued at Rs74.71 in the open market, meaning 1,000 SAR can be exchanged for Rs74,710 in Pakistani currency.
Pakistan received $3.1 billion in remittances from overseas workers in February 2025, reflecting a 3.8% rise compared to January 2025, as per data from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
On a yearly basis, remittances surged 38.6%, compared to the $2.25 billion recorded in February 2024.
Pakistani expatriates in Saudi Arabia contributed the highest remittance inflows in February 2025, sending $744.4 million.
