Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Hassan Murtaza on Sunday urged the political parties to go for electoral reforms after the Senate elections.
Expressing his thoughts, Murtaza said: "Today there was a meeting of the executive committee." He congratulated PPP leader Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari for becoming MNA unopposed.
"I would like to felicitate Asif Ali Zardari on becoming president twice," he added.
The PPP leader admitted that the country was facing severe challenges, including terrorism. "We hold sympathy with the families who were the target of the terrorism," he added.
Speaking about the political process, Murtaza said; "There is a dire need to work to stop the objections regarding the rigging in elections every now and then."

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Pakistan People's Party (PPP) senior leader Makhdoom Jameel-uz-Zaman exchanged views on the country's political situation on Saturday.
Zaman held a meeting with Rehman. On this occasion, Zaman had invited Rehman to visit Hala.
According to the spokesperson, Rehman will reach Hala after a few days.
