Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Haji Ghulam Ali said on Sunday that he was looking to bridge the gap between the political parties.
Expressing his thoughts, Ali said: "I am putting all my efforts into ensuring that, like Punjab and Balochistan, the Senate elections should be held unopposed in KP."
"There is not so much distance between the Chief Minister House and Governor House. So we should also be united together."
Ali maintained: "I have written the constitutional letter to the speaker for convening the session."

Separately, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Pakistan People's Party (PPP) senior leader Makhdoom Jameel-uz-Zaman exchanged views on the country's political situation on Saturday.
Zaman held a meeting with Rehman. On this occasion, Zaman had invited Rehman to visit Hala.
According to the spokesperson, Rehman will reach Hala after a few days.
