Sindh Minister Sharjeel Memon on Sunday accused the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of making excuses for boycotts in the Senate elections.
Expressing his thoughts, Memon said: "The press conference of the PTI was merely based on statements and stories."
"The PTI leaders are not going to submit the papers of retirement at any cost," he added.
– Senate elections: PPP to vote for Faisal Vawda –
The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Sunday decided to vote for former federal minister Faisal Vawda in the Senate elections.
According to details, the PPP had directed six Sindh Assembly lawmakers to vote for Vawda.
The PPP's support will pave for Vawda to emerge victorious in the general seat of the Senate.
Moreover, the PPP will be able to emerge victorious on five general seats out of the seven after voting for Vawda.
The polling for 12 Senate seats in the Sindh Assembly will be held on April 2.
Earlier, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) had also decided to vote for Vawda.
