Eight terrorists were killed in an intelligence-based operation of the security forces in Dera Ismail Khan district.
According to a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations, the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan district on the reported presence of terrorists on April 5.
During the operation, eight terrorists were killed after an intense exchange of fire.
The killed terrorists remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces and target killing of innocent civilians. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from the killed terrorists, the statement added.
It further said that locals appreciated the operation. A sanitization operation was carried out to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area, as the security forces are determined to wipe-out the menace of terrorism from the country.
