Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar hailed on Saturday the decision of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa in connection with the Islamabad High Court (IHC) judges' letter.
Expressing his thoughts on Samaa TV, Tarar said: "The bar councils have expressed satisfication over the chief justice's verdict."
He made it clear that the security institutions were having their role to play.
"What had not happened during the previous tenures? But the voice was not raised from the judiciary," he lamented.
Tarar hoped that the development would take place on the suo motu notice, which is a "good omen.".
Speaking about Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Tarar said, "The premier has not delayed the matter, and when he was summoned, we went to meet the chief justice."
Tarar said, "I do not agree with Rana Sanaullah on his statement in line with the judges."

Few days back, Tarar asserted on Tuesday that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was looking to politicise the Supreme Court's suo motu in line with the Islamabad High Court's (IHC) judges letter.
Reacting to PTI leader Barrister Gohar Ali Khan's statement, Tarar said: "The PTI leadership had tried to politicise the matter in line with the judiciary."
"It is far better to not stage politics on matters in line with the independence of the judiciary," he added.
