Google stated today that anybody utilizing the app would be able to access the AI-powered features inside Google Photos without needing to have a paid subscription. Features include Portrait light, Photo Unblur, and Magic Eraser.
This will begin on May 15, which is, ironically, the day following Google's annual developer conference. Because that's how Google likes things to work, as usual, anticipate the deployment taking a few weeks beyond that date. Google disclosed that the three previously stated functions will also be accessible on "more devices, including Pixel tablets".

Magic Editor for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro was released by Google last year. With a few easy steps, such as moving the subject or changing the color of the sky, it can perform complex modifications thanks to generative AI. With limitless usage, this is now available on all Pixel devices.
Furthermore, every Google Photos user on iOS and Android will receive 10 Magic Editor saves every month. To get over this limit, you'll need a Pixel device or a Premium Google One subscription with at least 2TB of storage.
