The New Zealand cricket team has touched down in Islamabad, commencing their highly anticipated 14-day tour of the country.
Arriving on April 14, the team is set to engage in a series of five T20 matches against the Pakistani cricket squad, scheduled from April 14 to 28.

The series will see three thrilling matches taking place at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on April 18, 20, and 21, followed by two encounters at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on April 25 and 27.
The arrival of the New Zealand team has been met with tight security measures, with the visiting players escorted under the protocol of the head of state upon their arrival at Islamabad airport.
The team was swiftly transferred to their hotel amid tight security, where they will enjoy a day of rest upon arrival and throughout Monday. However, they are scheduled to hit the grounds for practice at Pindi Cricket Stadium on Tuesday at 7pm.
Meanwhile, the West Indies women's cricket team has also made their way to Pakistan, arriving in Karachi this morning via a private airline. Led by Hayley Mathews, the team is gearing up to take on Pakistan's women's cricket team in a series of ODIs and T20 matches.

The West Indies women's team received a warm welcome upon their arrival, with Ayesha Ashar, the general manager of the women's wing. The team is slated to commence training sessions from tomorrow in preparation for the series, which will feature one-day internationals and five T20I matches at the National Bank Stadium.
