The Oil Tanker Owners Association observing strike stopped the oil and diesel supply towards Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltsan, and Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) region, along with cutting off supplies to country's airports.
The association announced suspending the supply of petroleum products until the demands are approved. The association representative said that the notices were sent to PSO officials and DC Islamabad but received no response.

Oil tanker owners association demanded filling demand under metered system should be fulfilled immediately but less petrol diesel being filled in tankers under gauge scale.
The district administration and authorities have violated the February 20 agreement while tanker owners and consumers are suffering due to low petrol diesel filling.
The association has informed OGRA, Petroleum Ministry several times before about their demands.
