Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Director General DG Khaqan Murtaza has been removed from the post and now he has been appointed as chairman of the Employees Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI).
As per the notification, Aviation Secretary Saif Anjum was given additional charge of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
Federal Aviation Secretary Saif Anjum has been given an additional charge for three months.
After Cabinet approval, Khaqan Murtaza has been appointed chairman of EOBI. The names of four aviation experts, including Imran Aslam, are being considered for the new DG of the Civil Aviation Authority.
Secretary Saif Anjum will serve until the appointment of the new DG of the CAA.
