Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Karachi on Wednesday on a one-day visit.
According to details, the premier was welcomed by Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori. PM Shehbaz will visit the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah along with the ministers.
He will also hold a meeting with the representatives of the allied parties, where matters in connection with the country's political and economic situations will be taken into account.

The premier will also hold a meeting with the businessperson and investors, where he will brief them about the ongoing and overall projects.

Separately, PM Shehbaz on Tuesday took notice of the deliberate delay in taxes and suspended the Inland Revenue Islamabad chief commissioner and other officials.

According to details, the premier said: "The hundreds of billions of rupees of national exchequer are subject to legal disputes." He vowed to not tolerate any "negligence or shortcuts" in this regard.
"Under the commitment made to the public, I am personally overseeing reforms in the tax system," said PM Shehbaz.

Stressing the need for all-out efforts for the betterment of the masses, PM Shehbaz said: "In a bid to save every penny of the masses, there is a dire need to make all-out efforts for increasing revenue."
– PM Shehbaz sees Chinese language effective tool for communication globally –
Few days back, PM Shehbaz said that the Chinese language was an effective tool for communication worldwide.
Expressing his thoughts in connection with the Chinese Language Day, the premier underscored the importance of the language, saying, "Even the United Nations (UN) has included the Chinese language officially."

The premier acknowledged the growing popularity of the Chinese language in the country, saying, "More people are learning the Chinese language in Pakistan."
PM Shehbaz made it clear that all-out steps were being taken to promote the Chinese language and literature in the country.
He expressed optimism that, with the learning of the Chinese language, the people of both countries will get even closer.
