Four terrorists were killed when the security forces conducted an intelligence-based targeted operation in the Tank district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday night.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday morning that the killed individuals were actively involved in perpetrating acts of terror in the region.
The security forces, acting swiftly on a tip-off, effectively tracked down the hideouts of the terrorists in Tank district of Dera Ismail Khan division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. During the operation, a significant quantity of arms and ammunition was seized from the possession of the slain terrorists.
According to ISPR, the terrorists killed in the operation were allegedly involved in numerous terrorist activities, including targeted killings and sabotage.

In the aftermath of the operation, local residents expressed their appreciation for the swift and decisive action taken by the security forces to neutralize the terrorist threat. ISPR reiterated the security forces' dedication to eradicating terrorism from the country and ensuring the safety and security of all citizens.
Also on Sunday, the security forces killed two terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan, the military’s media wing said.
According to ISPR, security forces conducted an IBO in Dera Ismail Khan district on the reported presence of terrorists. It added that during the operation, an intense exchange of fire took place between the troops and terrorists, resulting in the killing of terrorists Faheem Nawaz Gandapuri and Mohsin Nawaz.
