More than 1,400 new recruits graduated from the Scouts Training Academy in Warsak, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today after completing their Basic Military Training Course.
Inspector General Frontier Corps North attended the passing out parade as chief guest to congratulate the recruits on successfully finishing their training.
During the months-long course, the recruits were evaluated at various stages to test their skills and performance. Many of the graduating recruits came from tribal areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Those who excelled at different training stages received shields from the Inspector General. The recruits with the best overall performance were awarded honorary swords.
At the ceremony, the fresh graduates proudly marched past the chief guest and saluted. Their families, friends, local leaders and civil servants looked on as the recruits completed their initiation into the armed forces.
The passing out parade provided an opportunity to honor some of the most promising new personnel as they begin their military careers.
The 34th session of the Basic Military Training Course at the Scouts Training Academy in Warsak has now concluded, with over 1,400 recruits graduating after months of preparation for service.
