Dinesh Karthik, the well-known Indian cricketer, has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.
In a social media post, Karthik expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to represent India, saying, "I consider myself among the lucky few to have had the chance to represent the nation."
Karthik's career spanned across multiple formats, making significant contributions to Indian cricket. He played 26 Test matches, scoring 1,025 runs, including one century and seven half-centuries.

In One Day Internationals (ODIs), Karthik appeared in 94 matches, amassing 1,752 runs with nine half-centuries. Additionally, he scored 686 runs in 60 T20 Internationals, with one half-century to his name.
Apart from his international career, Karthik was a prominent figure in the Indian Premier League (IPL), where he most recently represented the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
