A grand jirga was convened between FC Balochistan and local tribal elders in the Sibi district of Balochistan. The gathering saw the presence of Corps Commander Balochistan Corps, Lieutenant General Rahat Naseem Ahmad Khan, and IG FC Balochistan, Major General Chaudhry Ameer Ajmal, alongside civil administration, police officers, and community representatives from Sibi Kot Mandai.
During the jirga, there was a heartfelt acknowledgment from tribal elders and farmers towards the Pakistan Army and FC for their key role in upholding peace in the region. Farmers from Kot Mandai expressed gratitude, highlighting how the support from the armed forces enabled the cultivation of thousands of acres of land, providing valuable employment opportunities.
Emphasizing the collaborative efforts, Corps Commander Balochistan commended the contributions of tribal elders and local populace towards peacekeeping endeavors. Lieutenant General Rahat Naseem Ahmad Khan underscored the positive impact of the Green Pakistan Initiative, foreseeing transformative changes in the lives of Balochistan's farmers.
Furthermore, the Pakistan Army's security assistance for the Kachhi Canal project was underscored as crucial for its successful implementation. The completion of this project holds promise in addressing water scarcity issues in the region, enhancing livelihoods and agricultural productivity.
