The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) announced the reserved verdict and approved the request to change the Election Tribunal of Islamabad.
The ECP approved the request of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) MNAs from Islamabad.

On February this year, Islamabad High Court (IHC) division bench Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurezneb and Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir suspended the ECP victory notification PMLN's victory notifications of Islamabad’s NA-46, 47, 48 seats.
The IHC suspended the notification of Tariq Fazl Chaudhry from NA-47 against an intra-court appeal.
The intra-court appeal was filed and challenged single-member IHC CJ Justice Aamir Farooq's verdict dismissing the plea to suspend the victory notification of NA 47, NA-47, and NA-48 constituencies.
The IHC judge remarked who was issuing these notifications in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
From the NA-47 Islamabad National Assembly seat, Tariq Fazl Chaudhry got 102502 votes while PTI-backed Shohaib Shaheen got 87396 votes in the elections held on February 8.
Before the Elections in 2024, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) changed the constituency of Tariq Fazal Chaudhry from Islamabad. PML-N senior leader Ishaq Dar said that Chaudhry to contest the elections from NA-47. Earlier, the party had awarded the ticket to Chaudhry from NA-48. The PML-N had issued the ticket to Anjum Aqeel Khan from NA-46.
NA-46, NA-47 and NA-48
Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb and Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir heard the case on the intra-court appeal of Amir Mehmood Mughal, the candidate of Constituency NA 46 Islamabad-I.
Lawyer of Aamir Mughal claimed there were 343 polling stations in his client’s constituency and as per the results he was leading.
“According to Form-45, Aamir Mughal's votes are 85, 224 while the contestant Anjum Aqeel's votes were 43,604 but as per Form-47, Aamir Mughal's votes were 44,317, Anjam Aqeel's votes were 51, 958,” lawyer pleaded.
