Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday contacted President Asif Ali Zardari to inquire about his health and extended his best wishes for a swift recovery.
During the conversation, the premier expressed concern over the president’s illness and prayed for his complete well-being. “May Allah grant you complete health soon,” Shehbaz Sharif said, reassuring Zardari of his support.
The PM also conveyed that the entire nation’s prayers are with the president during this time.
Later, National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq also reached out to President Asif Ali Zardari to inquire about his health and well-being.
During the conversation, Ayaz Sadiq expressed his heartfelt wishes for the president’s swift recovery. He assured Zardari that the prayers and best wishes of the entire nation are with him. "May Allah Almighty bless you with complete health soon," Ayaz Sadiq remarked.

Early on Tuesday morning, President Asif Ali Zardari's health deteriorated suddenly, which prompted his admission to a private hospital in Clifton, Karachi.
According to hospital sources, the head of state was rushed to the hospital at 4am on Tuesday under tight security. They confirmed that President Zardari was admitted due to health complications from a fever and infection.
Zardari was being treated on the sixth floor of the hospital in the executive ward.
Security measures outside the hospital were heightened, with significant personnel from the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) and the police deployed to ensure safety. In addition to the hospital staff, several senior leaders from the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) were present at the hospital.
Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori contacted President Asif Ali Zardari's physician, Dr. Asim Hussain, to inquire about the president's health and extend his best wishes.
