In preparation for Eid-ul-Azha, the Punjab Home Department has established a control room to ensure law and order and the implementation of government directives across the province.
This control room will operate 24 hours a day, compiling reports from all districts to maintain an effective oversight during the Eid holidays.
Under the leadership of senior officers, the control room will remain active throughout the holiday period, ensuring that all activities comply with the regulations set forth by the government. The department has also announced stringent measures to control various activities during Eid.

A significant measure includes the prohibition of any banned organizations from collecting sacrificial animal hides. Only those organizations registered with the Charity Commission will be authorized to collect these skins, as confirmed by a department spokesperson.
This step aims to ensure that the proceeds from the sacrificial skins are utilized responsibly and in compliance with the law.

The Home Department has also banned burning of heads and trotters of sacrificial animals in public places during Eid. To further ensure public safety, bathing and boating in rivers, streams, and dams will be strictly prohibited during the Eid holidays.
Moreover, Section 144 will be enforced to prevent the improper disposal of animal waste. Throwing animal excrement into manholes or canals will be strictly forbidden to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in public areas.
