In a bid to maintain discipline and professionalism within the ranks of law enforcement, the Rapid Response Force (RRF) of Sindh province has issued a directive prohibiting police personnel from creating TikTok videos while in uniform.
The decision comes amidst concerns over the adverse impact of such activities on police performance and public perception.
According to a notification, the RRF has strictly forbidden the filming of TikTok videos inside official vehicles or within department premises.
The directive emphasized that engaging in such activities while in police uniform is deemed unprofessional and runs contrary to the established rules of conduct within the force.
"The primary objective behind this ban is to enhance the overall efficiency of our force and ensure that officers remain focused on their official duties," stated the notification.
It further underscored the importance of upholding integrity and professionalism, highlighting that adherence to these principles is crucial for maintaining public trust and effective law enforcement.
The responsibility for enforcing compliance with this directive has been entrusted to senior officials including Senior Superintendents of Police (SSP) and other designated authorities within the RRF and CMU Sindh. These officials have been instructed to take immediate action to ensure that the ban is strictly adhered to across all levels of the force.
