Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori has instructed K-Electric to refrain from implementing load-shedding in and around Imambargahs during the first ten days of Muharram.
In a statement, Governor Kamran Khan Tessori emphasised the importance of facilitating peaceful religious observances.
He asserted that any instance of load-shedding during this sensitive period could disrupt the solemnity of Muharram rituals.
The governor went on to express his resolve, stating that he would personally protest at K Electric's headquarters should any disruptions occur.
Responding to queries regarding his role, Governor Tessori underscored his commitment to public service over political maneuvering.
He highlighted the need for unity in addressing societal challenges, stressing that economic strength is crucial to overcoming current adversities.
