Pakistan and Iran have vowed to further strengthen bilateral relations in diverse fields.
The commitment was made during a telephonic conversation between Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Iranian President-elect Dr. Massoud Pezeshkian.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif congratulated Iranian President-elect Dr. Massoud Pezeshkian on his victory in recently held Presidential elections.
Wishing the Iranian President-elect a successful tenure in office, the Prime Minister said he looks forward to working closely with him to further strengthen Pakistan-Iran relations and enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields, including trade, energy, and regional security.
Iranian President-elect Dr. Massoud Pezeshkian thanked the Prime Minister for his felicitations, while expressing his desire to further deepen fraternal ties between two brotherly nations.
The two leaders also discussed regional issues and agreed to continue close coordination and consultation.
