The price of gold in Pakistan decreased for the second consecutive day on Saturday.
The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association reported that the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs100, bringing it to Rs250,000.
The price of 10-gram 24-karat gold also experienced a downward trend, dipping by Rs857 to reach Rs214,335.

The international gold market also showed a decreasing trend. According to APGJSA, the global rate stood at $2,400 per ounce, marking a $15 decrease on Saturday.
However, the price of silver in the local market saw a rising trend by Rs70 to be traded at Rs2,920 per tola.
Market analysts attribute the rise in gold prices to various factors, including fluctuations in the international market, currency exchange rates, and economic conditions. The continued increase in gold prices may influence investment decisions and consumer behaviour in the coming days.
