After remaining stable for a day, the prices of gold in Pakistan saw an increase on Friday, reflecting an upward trend in the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola increased by Rs1,000, bringing the new rate to Rs256,500.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold also saw a jump of Rs857, reaching Rs219,907. The price of 10 grammes of 22-karat gold has reached Rs201,582.

The international gold market also experienced an upward trend on Friday, with the price per ounce rising by $37 to $2,430, as reported by the APGJSA.
The silver rates in the local market, however, remained stable at Rs2,850 per tola, showing no change.
Earlier this month, gold prices in Pakistan reached an all-time high, with the per tola rate increasing by Rs4,600 to Rs254,000.
This record-setting trend underscores the volatility and significant shifts in the precious metals market, influenced by both domestic and global economic factors.
