After a minor decline on Thursday, the price of gold in Pakistan witnessed a slight rise on Friday, following a similar trend in the international market.
According to data provided by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs300, settling at Rs257,700.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also saw an increase, rising by Rs256 to stand at Rs220,936.

Internationally, the gold price also faced an upward trend. The rate per ounce increased by $7, taking it up to $2,461.
The silver rates in the local market also saw a rising trend, with the price per tola increasing by Rs50 to Rs2,900.
