Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari said on Thursday that Punjab was having two key projects in progress.
Responding strongly to Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari's recent speech, she said, "Bilawal was not fully informed about the ongoing projects in Punjab. It would have been better if someone had informed Bilawal Bhutto about the full picture, as Punjab has two key projects in progress."
She made it clear that electricity bill relief will be provided before the solar programme's implementation, ensuring a comprehensive approach to energy management.
"It is better for the leaders to avoid making comments based on incomplete information, as it only leads to embarrassment," she said.
– 'Unbridled' inflation –
Separately, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Thursday blamed the government's policies for "unbridled" inflation and exorbitant power prices.
Expressing his thoughts, the former foreign minister said: "We want to see that the masses get relief. The entire country is thinking of providing cheap electricity to the poor segment of society.
He took a swipe at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, saying, "When the long march was staged, the PTI founder had dropped the prices of petroleum (POL) products. Inflation has surged due to ill-mannered decisions made by the PTI."
"We give the centre an invitation to cooperate with the Sindh government in line with the solar panel project," he said.
Bhutto-Zardari stated: "I would like to express my gratitude to the Sindh government for providing the solar panel to the people."
