The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) on Friday issued an alert on the potential monsoon rains across Punjab.
According to the details, PDMA DG Irfan Ali Kathia had issued the alert in Lahore and other districts of Punjab. Kathia had asked all the deputy commissioners to stay alert to brace for the potential challenges due to the rain.
Kathia had made it clear that the situation was being monitored at the PDMA control room.
"The rescue and other teams have been ready to tackle the situation," he said.
Kathia had urged the citizens to stay away from the electric poles, hanging wires, and dilapidated buildings.
