Pakistani troops reportedly defended the Jassar Bridge near Narowal, inflicting heavy losses on Indian forces. Lieutenant Kaleem Mahmood was killed in action during this engagement.
In another operation, Pakistani forces allegedly attacked Indian engineers at a western location in Sona Marg, causing substantial damage.
The Pakistan Air Force claimed to have destroyed Indian air bases at Pathankot and Jodhpur. According to Pakistani sources, their air force shot down 28 Indian aircraft in aerial combat, destroyed 2 with anti-aircraft guns, and eliminated 36 on the ground. An additional 15 aircraft were reportedly destroyed at the Kalaikunda air base.
Pakistani military sources stated that India faced defeats on all fronts and its forces were retreating.
