Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Barrister Gohar Ali Khan on Friday asked the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to notify 38 lawmakers.
Expressing his thoughts, Khan said: “The Supreme Court (SC) had removed all the doubts pertaining to the lawmakers on September 14. Now it is up to the electoral watchdog to implement the SC’s verdict. The ECP now needs to ensure the implementation of the ruling.”
“The ECP needs to notify our MNAs right now. There exist no legal and constitutional reasons for the ECP to halt the notification,” said Khan.
The PTI chairman maintained: “The situation right now is quite different from April 25, as now the court has issued a fresh order.”
